ENGLISH:
Apterodorcus bacchus : A very common Lucanid. Lives from
Santiago to the far South. It is found walking about under
the forest canopy. We believe
that larvae live in the ground feeding on vegetal
debris. ESPAÑOL:
Esta especie de Lucanido vive desde Santiago hasta Puerto
Montt. Su larva vive de detritos vegetales bajo troncos. Los
machos tienen mandibulas mucho mas largas.Es una especie muy
comun.
